While there aren't nearly as many mods for Fallout 2 as there are for the franchise's third and fourth installments, there are many awesome Fallout 2 mods that make the game more enjoyable.
Thankfully, there are mods that focus on fixing these issues and some ambitious enough to iterate on the formula, going as far as making an entirely new game within the Fallout IP. Some issues with Fallout 2, such as its incompatibility with modern systems, make it rather hard for gamers to try this classic out today. Fallout 2 is over two decades old, yet remains one of the best RPGs ever released.
